I/O ports, CMOS battery and chip BIOS/UEFI

I/O (Input/Output) ports are where you connect external devices to your electronics. They include USB, HDMI, and audio ports, allowing you to transfer data, connect to displays, and use peripherals like keyboards and mice.

The CMOS battery is a small, round battery on the motherboard of a computer. It powers the CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) chip, which stores system settings like date, time, and hardware configurations, even when the computer is turned off.

BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) or UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) are firmware interfaces that initialize hardware components during startup. They also provide settings for configuring system parameters. UEFI is a newer, more advanced version of BIOS, offering enhanced features and functionality.
